App not opening or loading

If Selah is not opening or loading correctly, confirm that:

  • Your network connection is stable
  • Your app is updated to the latest version
Notifications not appearing
  • Confirm notifications are enabled for Selah in Android settings
  • Re-open the app and check reminder settings
  • Make sure battery optimization is not aggressively restricting the app
Missing journals, prayers, or progress
  • Confirm you are using the same device — Selah stores personal data locally and does not sync across devices
  • Check whether local app data may have been cleared from Settings
  • Re-open the app and try again
Erasing local data

Selah includes an in-app local data erase option in Settings. This will permanently remove all locally stored journals, prayers, check-ins, and progress from your device. This action cannot be undone.
